MY PYRAMID TRACKER : "MyPyramid Tracker is an online dietary and physical activity assessment tool that provides information on your diet quality, physical activity status, related nutrition messages, and links to nutrient and physical activity information." This site is well worth the visit.

CENTER FOR SCIENCE IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST : This watchdog group has been a strong advocate for nutrition and health, food safety, alcohol policy, and sound science since 1971. Its award-winning newsletter, Nutrition Action Healthletter, is the largest-circulation health newsletter in North America, providing reliable information on nutrition and health.

CALORIE-COUNT.COM : Enter an item and look at the nutritional value. Many branded items are included. We used this site to lookup calorie counts in many of the recipes listed in this site.

THE MANSION TURTLE CREEK: This site is always good to check out, just to see what recipes Dean Fearing has posted. although there is only a few recipes listed, his southwest cooking is what I would ask for as my last meal.

WEIGHTWATCHERS.COM : Weight watchers is a proven program. This site explains their plan and shares several recipes that are within the program.

DIABETIC-RECIPES.COM : Over 800 diabetic and heart-healthy recipes developed for personal use that can be enjoyed by all. This site also includes menus and health tips.

LIFE CLINIC: This site shows that diabetics can eat desserts. There are over 30 dessert recipes here that are diabetic friendly. Of course there is more, but I am eyeing the Key Lime pie right now.
